Evolution have just released a Logic environment setup for their popular UC-33 USB/MIDI controller surface. This new setup provides Logic users with immediate hands-on control over the Track Mixer and individual Channel Strips. It's available as a free download from www.evolution.co.uk

The new environment gives control over Volume, Pan and 2 Sends for the first 16 audio channels displayed in the Track Mixer plus full control over 4-band EQs, 8 Sends, Mute, Solo, Pan and Volume for each Channel Strip.

UC-33 owners can use the Mixer Channel Strip plastic overlay, one of four overlay skins which Evolution supply with the unit, instantly transforming the UC-33 into the Channel Strip Mixer. There's no fiddly time consuming labelling required; it's ready for action at the touch of a button, making the UC-33 a highly attractive controller to the thousands of Logic users out there.

Great news for Cubase users too! There are also new and improved UC-33 setup files for Cubase SX and VST which are available to download from the Evolution web site. With the new UC-33 SX and VST Multichannel and Channel Strip files, you can switch from the Multi-channel setting to the Channel Strip setting without having to load new settings in the Devices Setup. The new setup also provides precise control over all parameters within the Dynamic Parametric insert effect. Cubase users can use the Mixer Channel Strip overlay to instantly label up the UC-33.
