Over weeks or months of taking pole dance classes, you will feel your confidence grow and become a pole dance expert yourself. You will be able to perform more advanced routines on the pole and your body will become stronger and stronger. It feels like being able to accomplish running longer on a treadmill as weeks go by.

You will slowly grow confident in how you carry yourself with a newfound demeanor. Your personal appearance will also change. Once you start pole dance lessons, you many never want to stop.

It’s a great way to enjoy yourself while getting in shape. It might not look like something you’d associate with athleticism and strength, but it actually requires huge amounts of muscle control and upper body strength. It requires a lot of strength because of the moves that involve swinging around the pole while lifting yourself into the air.

You will be taught how to suspend yourself in the air, to suspend yourself while spinning or to climb up the pole without slipping down. Just like in gym class when you were younger, climbing a rope was hard but climbing a pole is just as difficult. You will need the same kind of strength.
