Evolution devices do not support Freemidi.

It is possible to use Freemidi in OMS compatibility mode, but this can be unstable. We recommend if using Freemidi-only applications on OS 9, it is advisable to use the MIDI connector and a power supply.

The power supply spec is 9V, centre positive, 250-300mA.
