Midi to Audio Conversion

1. Go into the volume controls for the computer by double clicking on the small speaker at the bottom right of your screen, or from Start – Programs – Accessories – Entertainment – Volume Controller.
2. Go to 'Properties in 'Options' and select 'Recording'.
3. Make sure the 'Mixer Device' selected is your sound card.
4. Make sure the 'MIDI Synth' option is selected as the recording source.
5. In your sequencing program (Sound Studio, Sound Studio II, Sound Studio Pro II) select which Audio track you want to record on and press its record button.
6. Start recording and any tracks that are not muted will be recorded onto to the audio track.
7. Double click on the new audio .WAV that has just been created.
8. Go to File – Save as... and save the wave file. This is the file you can then burn onto CD.

If you have multiple audio tracks, you need to mix them onto a single track, to form a single .WAV file. It is the .WAV file that you can burn onto CD.
