Go into the program's directory (eg: c:\Program Files\Evolution\Sound Studio II)

Find the files default.def and defualt.wnd.

Delete both of these files and try to restart the software once more.

If this does not solve the problem:

When you open Sound Studio II/Pro II, the software scans your hard drive for VSTPlugins. If there is a plugin on your system that is conflicting with the software, the software may not be able to start. If this is the case you should read the error message. In some cases the name of the problem plugin will be given, and you can run a search for it.

If no file name is given, you should search for all directories called 'VSTPlugins'. The problem plugin will be in one of these files.

To deal with the problem plugin, re-name the plugin's extension from .dll to anything else.

Still Not Fixed?
